I was hoping that someone could answer a question for me. Is it safe to use well water with a pressure cleaner? I am only concerned becuase I see what well water can do the side of a house and to fixtures in the house. Your input is greatly appreciated.

I never run well water through my pw if I can avoid it - the minerals are just not good for the pump. In general, a house wash will only use a few hundred gallons of water. In my area, I believe that city water runs usually runs just a few dollars per 1000 gallons. Sometimes, there is no choice and if the iron content is high, an acid rinse, followed by another clear water rinse, may be required after the wash. (Assuming the use of at least some bleach/chlorine in your house wash mix, it may react with the iron oxide in the water and leave rust on the siding.)
