Craig, We use airless for the rails and a 9 inch stain pad for the surface most of the times. We also back brush the rails to push the stain into the wood and smooth out any runs left behind. Sometimes on a small deck we use a pump sprayer if were going to seal.

Craig, I use a pump sprayer for the floor and brush the rails . Use to spray the rails too but found I was wasting too much . I am thinking of buying "The Deck Hand ". Any one out there have one ? Curious as to how good it is . Looking to speed up my time. Thanks
Rob

We use the Deck Hand for everything, applying cleaners, strippers, brighteners and sealer, The only thing we use an airless for is Wolman Extreme and Cabot solid color stain, Chris @ sunbrite www.sunbritedecks.com (http://www.sunbritedecks.com)
