prcing wood decks

hey guys i live in monterey california right next door to pebble beach. Very nice and wealthy area. I was wondering what the going rate for washing decks is if i was charging by the square ft. I hear that the going rate is 1.00 a square ft and that seems like that price is too high, what do you guys think.I washed a 1000 sq foot deck in an hour and a half the other day and i was hauling a..

I dont feel that a $1 per square foot is out of line. If you do quality work and present yourself well, you should be able to get that rate.

When you are meausuring square footage, are you including the rails and spindles, etc? I measure every last little bit of wood and include it in my total square foot figure. Good luck
