In mixing up chemicals you that you want to jell, such as a sodium hydroxide based stripper, what do yall use to make it jell? Was told today by a certain chemical supplier, believe it or not, that corn starch works great as a jelling agent. Seems to me that would leave a residue, but what do i know. Might rinse right off. Any ideas/comments?

Craig,
Starch will thicken, or jell NaOH. What I use is a nonionic surfactant ( NP-9 surfactant ). E-mail me if you need more info.
