Cabot

Looking for opinions on cabot stains. I heard some say it is real hard to get off. But my question is. If it is put on a freshly cleaned deck and re-applied every few years after re-cleaning what do you think of it. I have been hearing locally that it is a really nice stain that lasts real nice on decks. Looking for opinions on semi and solid.

Dan, I use either cabot or benjamin moore stains and both of them are excellent. They are very hard stains to strip because they absorb deep into the wood which gives them longer lasting results. They are also not cheap but most homeowners heard of them and they seem to know that they are high quality stains which helps to sell the job in my opinion. Both stains have excellent semi and solid colors with a fair amount of colors to choose from.-John-

Thanks John, I noticed that the cost is higher and found that if the customer wants to use a higher costing stain they will pay the difference.

I am glad to hear that it holds up well.
