U.S.Forest Service web site on wood

Hey ya all check out this web site that we were informed about. They even sent me a packet of info in the mail with info about wood and sealers and cleaners alot of info.
Plan on letting customers see articles on needing decks cleaned / sealed while they are still new. Any way check it out .
Thought we all could benefit from it. Tim

Ok In new (havent even touched a deck) but have been doing some homework. Here is how to find some of the info your refering to. If I have a question maybe one of you experts will lend some advice I suggest you try this. Go to the Forest Service homepage at http://www.fs.fed.us. Click on Library. Click on publications by unit and
go down to the Forest Products Laboratory. Click on search. I put in
decks and maintenance and several references popped up. They can be viewed
on line or printed out.This is about all the advice this newbie will be able to offer for now.
