Surface Cleaner

Anyone,

I have a Whisper Wash, and it's about 3 or 4 years old. I noticed that the head part of the spinner that sticks out of the top were the pressure hose connects is leaking. It really has not hampered the performance. But I was wondering what might be the problem? The leak is not the o-ring from the hose. It is coming from the head that holds the spinner bar, The top part that sticks out of the shell. Also I noticed that the hose on the surface cleaner is ¼ inch, and the pressure hose is 3/8. Why do you think they only use ¼ ?

They use the smaller hose for two reasons
#1 Flexabilaty #2 accelerates the waterflow so the bars will spinn faster. The leak often comes from the fitting that is crimped onto the hose. Especially if it has a swivel end on it. They do have an O-ring that will leak. It is inside of the swivel fitting it can not be replaced. You will need a new hose eventually.
