bypass ?'s

Hey Wiz,

I have a couple questions about my pump bypass, I had been running the bypass back to my tank to prevent heat build up in head, but recently started playing with upstream chemicals so had to go directly back to pump so tank doesn't fill with soap. since I did this I notice ocassionally after being in bypass for a few minutes when I open the trigger it seems like it takes afew seconds to repressurize. the head doesn't feel hot to touch and I don't see any obvious air leaks like its sucking air what would you suggest?

Also how hot is too hot for the pump, I've thought about trying to make a heat exchanger( bypass hooked to copper coil in a bucket of water) If I dont go back to tank. I think I saw this mentioned on the board before curious how well it works.

Thanks again,
Adrian

What type of unloader do you have?
140 deg is too hot.
How can soap get back to the float tank if you use a downline injector after the unloader?
It Can't Because the unloader and the check valve in the soap valve stops it.
