SureFlow PWR Supply

I've decided to get a sure flow for chemical application. If I mount the unit on my trailer can I use the battery on my main unit to power it or should it be seperate? Can I run aluminum brightners or things like that through the pump w/out damage? If not is their a special downstream connection or just the standard? Sorry If this has been asked before but dont have much time tonight for research.

Thanks again

tom, we use a sure-flow 12v. pump run off of our washer battery, we have a 110v. burner and we had to use a full size car battery to keep the pump from killing the battery. I've put down 10 gal. of chem. with washer off and it start's fine after that. we also run caustics and acids through it with no problem, just get the one with viton seals and make sure you flush it out with water after you use it, don't let it sit with chem. in it.

mike, precision powerwash.

The vanguard engine on our hydro-tek unit has a pull start cord, so even if it dose kill the battery all we have to do is just yank the cord and away we go.

Mike must have more lead in his pockets than I do, I tried to start mine with the rope one time and it pulled me back through that little hole

...I decided I needed a new battery.
I learned a good lesson that day; release the pressure first.

Some times your arm gets jerked out of the socket when oil gets in the cylinder head.

just a note on a shur-flo.........
you dont really need to flush them out as stated above..at least i dont ......i have had the same pump for 3 years and it's always filled with soap..i never drain it or flush it out....it sit's on my 55 gal drum and i pump from it....i also run this from my p/wer battery..............

when your battery is dead and ya cant use the key......hang if ya got to use the pull start......
my battery has been dead for about 2 day"s and every time i go into town i forget to buy another one........
i think i should try and put duck tape on my forehead.maybe i would remember.........
