Adding more hp to powerwasher

Clean County

Hey Wiz,
I have a 18hp honda cold water direct drive pw and I'm debating on purchasing another pw that has a blown engine on it and it may be either 13hp or 16hp. This powerwasher is a hot water unit that supposedly all it needs is an engine. If that is true and it can be done I will dismantle my cold unit to put the engine on this hot water pw. Or maybe I will put the heater coil on this cold water pw.
The only problem I see is if I put the 18hp on the hot PW would it be to much hp? And were can I find the info on how much Hp a machine can handle? I have other PW's hot and cold so dismantling this direct drive pw is not a big deal. Thanks-John-

As long as the pump is turning the correct rpm you can basically install any motor or engine on it.

Not a Problem as long as there is enough space to do the Retrofit.
