Protecting the inside of an enclosed trailer.....

How are you guys or gals that use enclosed trailers protecting the inside. My open trailer dried fairly quickly when I drained the tanks or leaked water. How do you protect the plywood versus the 2 x 6's?

Hi Anthony,

In our enclosed trucks we have drain lines piped through the floor. We can drain our main and surge water tanks this way. One of our pumps has water lubricated packing (leaks all the time). We put a stainless pan under the pump to gather the water and have the pan piped right through the floor.

We rinse the floors in our trucks after doing really dirty places (coal mine). We just leave the doors open (we store the trucks inside) to air dry.

Before we installed the equipment we sealed the floors and walls.
