Oxalic Acid

Guys , Where is some places that I can purchase Oxalic Acid. I went to Lowes Home Improvement center and they didn't carry it. I have a rust problem on cement around a pool and I understand that this is pretty good for removing those stains. Please help a good ole boy from the Ole North State. Thanks Walt

Hey Walt,
You can go to Home Depot and look for the Behr Wood Cleaning Chem. Look on the back and it is Oxalic Acid. If you need a bunch of it {5 gallons) take a look at the top of this board and click on Sun Brite. Their Brightener is Oxalic Acid. Or you can go to most any hardware store and pick up a rust remover. Hope that helps.

Walt, Iron Out, available from the Wal-Mart plumbing department is much better for iron stains on concrete.

Go to your yellow pages and find a Co. called Van Waters & Rogers. They should have all the oxcalic acid you need. Best way to buy it. Good luck.
