Mike if you recall all of them then that picture of you is OLD, I only recall 21 of them and I ain't old.

Now about Bigboy, that is another story.

Now this is how I look at the word "old" and "age" it is only a number, you are as young as your mind feels, if you say I am getting old then in time you will feel old, if you say I feel young and great then even if you are 80 or 90 you will feel great and young.

<font color=e87400>I nailed 12 that I lived with.

How bout rotary telephones, a local school here did a study at a middle school a couple of years ago and only like 10% of the students knew how to work one. Sad

Jon,
I said I "know of them" .........not that I recall them. Meaning, I might have heard of them, but never lived or experienced........

The picture is only 7 months old. Only difference is I have a few more grey hairs.............been a stressful year.

I've got 18 of um. And I've found that it's not the year of the truck, but the miles that count.

I feel like an old mail truck now being used to sell ice cream.

Hello Jon,

It's sad to say that I remember all of them. I also remember gasoline at 22.9 cents a gallon and McDonalds hamburgers at 15 cents, rent on a three bedroom house in Southern California was $75.00 a month. And what ever happened to the drive thru dairys?

I really don't miss the $1.35 an hour that my first job paid. Thanks for the memories.

Rick,

I recall my dad cranking up the old buick, bottled milk, nickle phone call, nickle bus ride. Trains down the blvd.

How about those dimmer covers so the enemy could not see the headlights on cars?

Ration coupons for gas, I have a lot of those with my parents name on them.

Guess we could go on and on but progress took away the simple days of bygone days.

How I miss listening to Lucky Strikes music hour, I think it was at 10 pm Saturday evenings.

I'm not that old, just 29 but I remember some of them and an extra one.

"Pay Toilets's" I never forgot going across GC Murphy's store and having to run back and get a dime from my grandmother.

We still have a drive-in here, we used to go all the time, until the youngun' came along. If we missed our schedule (3 wkends a month) the owners would come on the PA system and ask where we were last week.
