gauge placement

Hey Wiz,
Tell me am I right or wrong. My pressure gauge is set up like this... pump / unloader / downstream injector / guage / pressure hose. Works fine for me, but is that correct ?

I prefer to install the gages in the extra pressure port of the pump, tee before unloader, or with a valve cap adapter. If you install the gage after a unlaoder it will always read pressure and will not show you what the pump is doing: if the unloader is working or not.

I do not think there is a wrong location, it justs depends if you want to read pressure at the pump outlet, the coil outlet, or just where you want to read pressure.

I prefer reading the pressure at the pump myself.

The way you did it is okay but before the unloader is better.
