washer will start hot

washer will not start hot

put a new magneto on a 18 brigg and stratton engine, it starts right up cold but after i use it and shut it off it wont restart untill its cooled off.i also added some of those quick start plugs.what could be causing this?thanks

Sounds to me like the magneto / ignition coil is breaking down under heat probably got a bad one!

I am assuming that you do not get spark when the unit is hot, and after cooling down it gets spark and will run.

Check your fuel line for burnt spots also change the fuel filter and make sure youe fuel line is away from any heat source. This could be a vapor lock or air being pulled into the fuel linr or a bad fuel pump.
