I can't see anything wrong with the smilie code. Here are a few things to try to determine where the problem is:
1) shut down your PC, reboot, try again
2) load another browser program-- if you're using Explorer, load Netscape and try again. If all else fails you could
download Opera and try with that.
3) try another PC in your house or at your office and see if it has the same spaz
