My burner works fine for 15 to 20 minutes then starts billowing white smoke, still gets hot. If I switch it off for about 5 minutes then back on it works fine for another 10 to 15 minutes. What should I check for. thanks for any help. Greg/sd

10-4 if you are running a 12volt system you could be having
battery problems, (low voltage usually will give you black smoke
however) White smoke is indactive of poor ignition the white smoke
is unburnt fuel, I suspect a partially clogged fuel filter is not
allowing a good flow of fuel to the burner, resulting in poor fuel
atomization and incomplete burn of the fuel.

I would check for a dirty fuel filter first.

I agree with mark. Check your fuel filter and battery voltage. If you let off of the trigger more often the problem won't be so bad. 12volt systems are not good for constant use. you have to let off of the trigger alot to let the battery charge up again.
