Briggs help Fast Please

Started my RK 21 yesterday and had alot of black carbon smoke blowing out my exhaust and lost most all of my psi. when i released the trigger the engine would rev back up but the smoke was still there. I cheaked the oil before I started as well as gas and it was all good. any ideas. if this is somthing major it could put me out of business.

10-4 Big Boy sure sounds like the air filter could be dirty and choking out the engine!

well this weekend I changed everything. filters, oil, plugs, ect. and guessing it was the oilfilter but everything works fine now, but still smell some fuel from the exhaust, maby its to rich. Thanks for your replys though. Guess i overreacted a little, im still learning. Thanks again.
