Hey Reed,

I know you're the resident expert on 2nd story decks...I have one to do next week. Care to give me some advice?

Another angle.

I'll be sealing with RS, Natural Cedar. It currently has Thompsons WeatherSeal, which I'll be stripping with TimberStrip.

Mark,

I got 1100.00 for that deck and used roughly 7 gals of RS double coated.

Bryan,

My advise is take your time. If you have not bought the flexible 1' attachment that you put on the end of the wand, get one. It can be angled to almost 90 degrees and is suited just for this type of job. You can do the outside from the inside of the deck. Be prepared for a lot of ladder work. TAKE YOUR TIME. safety is the key here.
