Sticking Injector Ratio Adjustment

Having the adjustment collar stick really irritates me.

Usually it is set to maximum. Occassionaly an adjustment is needed.

Anyway an easy lasting fix is to remove set screw or snap ring from collar.

Be careful these can easily be lost.

Unscrew adjusting collar and remove.

Coat the threads collar screws on to with Antiseize.

Replace collar and set screw or snap ring.

A drop of Locktite on the sets crew is also a good idea.

Works for me!

I have determined that the variability of the injectors and of the adjustment screws is so high, that I only use injectors without the adjustment screw. I adjust the mix in the chem container (usually only use one of 3 ratios) to achieve the correct on the surface chem concentration.

or... leave fully open, ad a plastic ball valve in between the chem and the injector (another way to meter)
