I booked a job for this home. They want their home, deck, gazebo, and brick walkway powerwashed. They have hard water. They said other homes in the neighborhood had powerwashed their homes and the hard water left a "rusty" type of residue. Whats the most inexpensive way to keep this from happening?....besides not taking the job...

hmm..

I'm not to sure how I would go about getting someone to haul water to the site. If I didn't do the home but still power washed their deck, the hard water shouldn't affect that, right?

In our area there are several guys that haul water to fill swiming pools. You might try to find somone like that. They may have a 1000 gallon tank mounted on a trailer.

We don't do much deck cleaning but we also don't use anything but city water. Maybe some of the other folks can help you there.
