Car washing techniques

I've been reading through this part of the forum very carefully and I would like to give car fleet washing a try. My main line of work for past year has been new construction brick and residential decks/siding.

The regular washers in my local area were doing shoddy work so they just got let go from some of the car fleets. So most dealerships have a bad taste in their mouth when it comes to power washers.

I'm loaded down with advice on water types, chemical additives, etc. But now, I need to ask, using soft water and a chamois, what are some of your techniques to rinse and dry cars, suvs, trucks, vans? What have you found that works (as far as technique) and doesn't work? Any particular things to keep in mind? (windows, mirrors, streaks?)

I'm getting ready to call the local dealerships and I'm pretty sure that they will need to see a demo of some sort before they just sign up. So I want to do the best job possible AND look like I know what I'm doing. Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks!
