How do you make money cleaning hoods?

I had a lady contact me today about getting into the exhuast hood cleaning business. She has 2 years experience in the business. So she's telling me about having 3 workers and her doing a job and I'm thinking $1200 to do the job. Then I ask what about an average price she says about $300. So I'm thinking how in the hell do you make money after you pay the help, pay insurance and then pay the expanses.

So somebody, please explain to me how you make money.

You wouln't need 3 guys on a $300 job. If its just you and one helper then your cost on any job including all insurance and materials shouldnt be more than 25 or 30%. Exhaust cleaning has a very nice return for owner operators.
