What is the best process for cleaning these type of roofs and what are the safety concerns - best way to be safe while cleaning?

Well safety concerns are just what they sound like... Be careful while walking. Tile provides more grip that asphalt shingle. Provided you have skid proof shoes. Tread lightly. Don't walk where you chem, unless you're footwear allows you to do that. Stay out of the valley(s)... tiles break really easily there. Broken tiles won't cause a leak, but they are a cosmetic problem that you DON'T want responsibility for.
Process:
Well... Whatever chem & mixture you're going to use... And application system (down/up-stream injector, direct application), Needs to be applied to the roof evenly without missing anything. You'll wait up to an hour for your chemicals to effectively work, then you'll rinse the roof @ low pressure. Do not use your white tip. It's too much pressure. 65 & 80's . 65degree tip is practically the same angle of the black tip. It's a low pressure (high volume) tip. As well as the 80degree tip. 65 for tile, but if it's not that bad, use the 80. Don't do it half assed. Do it right... No white or green tips. Any contractor using the power tips should look into landscaping. Pressure washing should involve little pressure... yes, even for concrete.
