    Your Method of Sealing?

To lower overspray in a deckhand, I plumbed in a mini air pressure regulator w/gauge on inlet side of gun(front entry) using small pipe nipple. I use 25-35 psi on floors, 20 psi or less on spindles. This is 3rd year using it for around $20 in cost. Thought it might get damaged from sealers and...

    docks/water run off

I've been asked to give an estimate on a CCA deck/dock at a local lake. It's very populated with upscale homes and cottages. The deck/dock has 2 wings extending 20ft. into the lake. Total sq.ft. around 1350. The owner isn't sure of the brand of sealer on it. It's fairly well faded and appears to...

    Hands-free 2-way Radio's ? ?

We also use these for deer hunting. Gander mtn. just had a sale on the Midland Speakeasy II for $20 each. Smaller than a cig. pack. Just picked up 2 more. Then ordered online from JD electronics the earbud+microphone setup, + you'll need a Y adapter. It has a 2 level vox. The earbuds suck(they...

    concrete sealer removal.

I visited this gentleman today on the way home from another job. 3600sq.ft. of concrete, fairly steep drive, gave a demo w/hot water, turbo, no luck with the sealer as expected. But to show off used the surface cleaner anyway. Now he wants me back next year to clean & seal w/V-Seal. Neither me...

What Turbo Nozzle Should I Buy??

I've had good luck with Dirt Killers removing paint from cement pool bottoms. The plastic covers fall off but they've held up well otherwise. Ordered mine from ********** . I use a #7. ------------------

    concrete sealer removal.

I have a residential concrete driveway to look at tommorrow. The owner applied a product called Res-Seal(sp?) and it turned his cement brown and splotchy. He applied it with a roller, apparrently way too heavy, and maybe with a roller that had some type of dye in the material that was pulled out...

    Vinyl Siding Stains

I use the diluted oxalic acid deck wash on the stains instead of bleach because I believe it's friendlier to the landscaping and it works. If there are only a few stains here and there I'll used the bleach in a mister if I can reach them and let the weather rinse it off. I've never had a problem...

    Vinyl Siding Stains

I've used an oxalic acid based deck wash on vinyl stains with some success. Give it about 5-10 min dwell. Sometimes bleach mixed 9:1 w/water in a mister if you can reach it. Don't like using bleach but sometimes it's the most practical. Hope this helps.

    cedar shake roofs

I've been asked to clean the roofs of two homes with cedar shakes; one is new, one is 5yrs. old w/green mold in the shaded areas. Both want a clear preservative/sealer. The client with the new roof is aware it needs cleaned first. I'd use oxalic acid based cleaner to start with, but I'm unsure...

    Shotgun fungus

That's normaly my procedure also. I wish to give some suggestions to the homeowners on prevention as an alternative. Just thought since it's supposed to be a fungus spore, a funguscide sprayed in the mulch beds may reduce or prevent it.

    Shotgun fungus

It seems the best prevention against shotgun fungus is to advise homeowners not to use mulch(ya,right!), or at least change it yearly. This may be viable for some homes with lots of those black spots, but most homes here aren't bad enough to warrant that type of action. It would be good to...
