I used a setup similar to yours for loading plastic pellets into the hopper for an extruder. While it did the job very well, the motors used in shop vacs aren't designed to run for extended periods or they'll overheat. Also, the brushes in the motor typically have a lifespan of 100 hours...

Anyone have any comments about p/w equipment dealers in the central Florida area (Orlando, Tampa, and thereabouts)? I see that Water Cannon builds machines in Orlando and they seem to have pretty good deals but don't know anything more about them than what's on their website. Thanks! -Jeff
