Brake Dust Help

I just picked up a new co. and the trucks have painted wheels. I wanted to see if anyone knew of a good product we can just spray and rinse to remove the brake dust. We have tried our regular truck wash and we have 2-steped, still did not come off. I no we can brush them but it is to time consuming and we only have a certain amount time to wash these trucks before they close the gate.

Thanks for any help

I guess I don't have to say this, but whatever you spray on, don't let it dry...and make sure you rinse well enough to get the brakes too.

Anyway, I used to detail cars for 2 years and I haven't found ANYTHING that will get brake dust off wheels without scrubbing.

Now that being said, my dad's truck is a Ford Ranger with the aluminum wheels and about 80k miles. He never cleans his wheels, maybe like once a year or so, so the brake dust was pretty much baked into the wheel. I was over there doing their driveway and had my turbo nozzle...I blasted his wheels from about 3 inches away and they came pretty much like new...so maybe heat and pressure would be your best friend with wheels.

If you want to spray and go for speed use the HF straight,in a pumpup sprayer spray a real fine mist as to cover the whole rim.If the account is washed every two weeks more than likely you want have to use it straight again. If you ever run into bare aluminun rims with a bad brake dust problem spray straight and rinse off.If you get black streaks from the lugnuts just respray and rinse off.
