Degreaser

I've gotta small problem I was gonna see if some of you could help me with. I've got some real great degreaser that works great for all of my oil-field work. The problem is, is if i put a little in with my soap to help with bugs and things when two-stepping, it leaves streaks on the aluminum. I tried a different lesser strength degreaser and it did the same thing. One was supposed to be butyl-based and the other had a lot of caustic in it. Thanks in advance for the help.

The caustic in it is burning the alum. We shy away frpm sodium hydroxide based soaps for trucks for that reason and it can dull the paint overtime.

ATLAS: A "safe cleaner" designed to clean over the road tractor/trailers and other types of commercial vehicles. It cleans painted surfaces, polished aluminum, anodized aluminum, & chrome without damage. This product will remove most carbon stack stain and magnetic road film from trailers without brushing, it works in cold water as well as hot water, rinses at any temperature. I agree with R L S,if your soap also has sodium hydroxide it makes worse.

Atlas is available as a kit or ready to use,
the kit form will be more economical for shipping.

No reason to pay for shipping water.

i definatly dont recommend it for aluminum ...but does anyone out there use HD plusfoam ?
