Any body out there use any of the wax products you add to rinse water? If so, do they work well, leave streaks on the aluminum, and what is a good product?

Sorry I missed this post

Yes, I use wax in the rinse water, have been for over 14 years, yes they do work. Some will streak some will gum up under the wiper blades. In most cases how days waxes are far better than before and most wholesalers will handle a good wax.It too is priced like your soaps, soaps that come with a little higher price tag is usually better at cleaning( get my meaning?)

Some waxes even have alittle cleaning power in them which will make chrome eye blinding.

A good product hmmmmm How do I explain this hmmmmm I have used, tried a few brands over the years. For the last several years I'm appling a polish instead of a wax,its the same as wax just alittle different.I'll have to know alittle about waxes, polishes and glazes to understand its purpose.

The best way I know how to explain a good product when it comes to waxs products is this. Most waxes I have used were ok not bad products at all,Usually its the user that makes the mistake b/c of streaking and guming.

In all these years not one powerwasher has learned how to use wax in my area, they all have tried and tried(streaks, gummed).I have been useing wax from day one so I learned how to apply as I did in learning how to clean.I like the ones you can apply either hot or cold, for a better shine a hot wax with a cold water rinse.....hint (streaks, gummed)most over do it when it comes to mixing the right amount per gallon, more is not always better.

O.. and smoothing and evening the wax in the final rinse is what makes the differents in how some wax jobs looks.
