Reasons for PowerWash Solutions:
Power washing is a proven way to increase your homes curb appeal which has been documented by the president of the National Association of Real Estate Appraisers to increase the value of your home anywhere form 5% to 10%. For the cost, no other home improvement project can compare to professional power washing.

Power washing not only can improve your homes curb appeal, but it can also help protect your investment by removing and stopping the damaging effects of mold, mildew, and stains. Remember, your home is your largest investment and keeping it clean inside and out is essential in maintaining its value.

Damaging contaminates can rot and decay the building materials that make up your home. Keeping your homes exterior clean can also save you money by cutting down on the cost of repairs, renovations, and replacements. Exterior cleaning is one of the best and most cost effective home improvements that can be made today.

Another key component to maintaining your home is gutter cleaning. Without the proper flow, gutters can become clogged and the runoff can produce damaging and expensive side effects. We recommend cleaning your homes gutters at least twice a year, once in the spring and again in the fall.

Thanks, I've been struggling with what to charge. I got my first paying job from a gal I work with. Power washed her deck (approx 16 x 20) and a octagon picnic table that had been painted a couple of times. She helped a little bit, but I only charged her $150 because she is a co-worker/friend and she gave me my first job. :) But I don't know about charging $1.56 just for pressure washing... seems kind of high. But, what do I know. lol If that's the going rate, I'll LOVE it! lol

yea i figured this would give people a rough idea where to start...when the price question is brought up everyone avoids the questions by saying there are too many variables...again these are just the rough numbers for over the phone estimates for ppl who are just sopping around or looking for ball park numbers...then if they are serious about the job then i will go and give them an quote with the variables...usually in the middle. Yea 1.56 might be a bit high for just a clean, but anything less isn't worth the time if you want to grow a business...if they have money and pay for quality instead of price it wont be a problem...it is the same idea behind used car... they think they are saving money but after all the repir bills and time lost for repairs it usually comes out close to the price of a new one, and some people get that and dont dick around and just pay for quality.

time

How long did that job take you?

Well, it was a friend and we took a couple of beer breaks. lol
I would say it took me 2-3 hours. The picnic table was a pain, but before I even went to look at the job, she told me the deck and table were old and I could not hurt them. I did apply deck and fence brightener to the deck and deck stripper to the table. Oh, and she did help a little bit on the railings.
