I would suggest you find a paralegal or attorney to design your service agreements and/or liability release forms, since each and every State has their own different statutes.
You can download a generic service agreement, use it with confidence, until your first civil or other legal claim, only to find out the hard and expensive way that your service agreement might in fact of hurt your business more that it helped.
Not a big fan of giving chunks of cash to our attorney, but in the long run you need to protect your business, your home and family from potential financial disaster.
Make sure you or your technicians who are using your new pressure washer are trained and have experience, as it is very easy to do irreversible damage with a pressure washer. I would also strongly suggest that you contact your insurance agent and make sure your pressure washing scope of work is included, in writing, in your current liability policy. Most commercial insurance carriers do not cover pressure washing, let alone even have a classification code for pressure washing. There are a couple well known and proven brokers, such as Joseph Walters Agency
Joseph D Walters Insurance Agency INC - Power Wash Insurance and Steve Hager of
Hagar Insurance that write commercial policies for pressure washing. You will need commercial vehicle coverage, including the trailer(s) you own also.
Do not assume your current insurance will cover pressure washing. Getting a commercial business liability policy dropped because of a claim or a non disclosure will effect your future insurance costs and abilities worse than multiple DUI's effect an automobile policy.
Hope the information has helped and Joe Walters or Steve Hagar are able to help.
