Hello all!!
I have been reading all of your posts on this forum and wanted to say thank you for the wealth of information you give! I just started my adventure doing commercial flatwork... Two store fronts so far, but hoping to expand soon... I still have a full-time job by day (wife was relieved) and slowly building until I can quit.

Thanks in advance for future advice ;)

Hello, My name is Dave. I have been in the pressure washing field for almost 30 years. I started at a pressure washing company when I was in high school [ I am 47 now]. I want to thank the board members for accepting me. I am familiar with all the aspects of the field as far as doing the actual work, to sales, the mechanics. We even design our own equipment. We started out operating out of two vans and now have 14 box trucks. It's a small company of about 30 employees. We have about truck fleet accounts doing postal vehicles, linen company's, trash companies, major food delivery co, houses and building exterior restoration also working with the historical society. Building restoration is my favorite because the results after restoring is very pronounced. I am also familiar with the science end of the chemicals and understanding on how and what they work on. I am not saying that I know it all because as with anything there is always something to learn.
I really seem to like this site because everybody is in it to talk "shop" about a field that I love. They are not trying to sell me anything, just people trying to make a living. If there is anything in any part of the field that anybody has questions, I would love to help answer the best way I can with the knowledge I have thru my experiences. Once again , thank you to the board!

When you get a chance go into to "my profile" and fill out your signature line with your name, company name, phone # and web site address if you have one. It's a little forum rule we have here that helps identify contractors.

Hey, everybody. My name is David and I've been in the (psuedo) pressure washing washing for about 3 ... days now. It's one of the tasks I have at a community maintenance gig I've recently started. I've been in the cleaning/refinishing industry for about 16 years or so - most of my knowledge is in things like carpet/floor care, tub & tile refinishing (reglazing), tile and stone repair/restoration and things like that.

It's great to find this forum and see the knowledge you guys (and gals) have shared. It helps people like me keep from being an embarrassment to your trade - and I appreciate it.

Hello Dave. Glad to see you on these BBS. Sounds like you have allot of experience. This is always good when several seasoned contractors on these BBS for not anyone person knows everything. I am glad to see another contractor on these BBS with experience who came up through the ranks on his own.
