vinyl siding red dirt stain removal?????

NC has the same problem. Never gotten it off before. I would try oxalic acid. Of course you'd want to make sure you've tested it somewhere out of sight first. I say that based on carpet spotting procedures for removing rust stains. Usually red clay comes out of carpet with degreaser type...

    Gutter Whitening method

Hey guys. I know most people are brushing their gutters to get the streaks off. Is there anyone who rarely if ever has to scrub and has good consistent success with a spray and rinse method? Sure would like to be able to do that. Thanks.

Surface Cleaner on Carpet Cleaning Rig

It's 20 inch whirl-a-way. It has 2 arms. I'm using 2.5 tips based on my machine's stats. The rig we are trying to run it with has 4 gpm and 2500 psi. It's really more of an experiment to see if we can get this thing running on a carpet cleaning truck mount. If it works, I'll let him borrow...

Surface Cleaner on Carpet Cleaning Rig

My buddy has a truck mount Carpet Cleaning rig that will run at 2500 psi and 4 gpm. Is there any good way to set up a surface cleaner with these settings. My PW runs at 3500 psi and 4.7 gpm. Technically these both machines require the same tips, but his runs much worse than mine. Is there...

    Need Help ASAP!!! Windows

Alright, there's no way the window was acid etched because he was using alkaline cleaners, very alkaline. They may be etched in some other way however. My guess is this is a simple matter of using hard water stain remover like Safe Restore. It may even come to some kind of acid cleaning to...

    Someone stole my photos!!!!

That's exactly what I was thinking. I wrote the guy a polite but a little annoyed email letting him know I caught him. Not sure if it's worth trying to get him to take one before and after down since he's a state away from me. My sister does my graphic design. If she doesn't know how to...

    Someone stole my photos!!!!

:burn::burn::burn:I was just browsing through some pressure washing sites not even in the same state as me when I stumbled upon a website that had photos of MY work on it in their gallery. Got to say I'm a little ticked off at that. What should I be doing to protect my photos from having...

    Using Clorox Outdoor

If I'm not mistaken, outdoor bleach has hydroxide in it as well. I have heard of this stuff etching glass if left to dry on windows. Doesn't work nearly as well as 12.5% sodium hypochlorite. I believe it tends to chalk up the shutters on vinyl siding houses.

    Algae

I have indeed had that problem. I think chem strength and application could be the culprit. You probably needed some pretty strong sodium hydroxide mixture to clean through that.

    Painter fell off the roof...

The painter was wearing an eye patch when I met him at the house. Other than that he seems fine. Not really sure what happened there. Are you sure Sodium Hydroxide will deal with latex paint? It's on the roof not the deck. The painter actually pressure washed the junk out of the deck and...

    Painter fell off the roof...

Hey guys. So I've got a customer who was having his house painted last week. Everything was going great until the painter (who was on the roof painting the chimney) passed out from the heat, dropped his paint can on the shingles, and fell onto the deck below. Now they want me to do my best...

3 story indoor job - help!

Maybe 2 guys each with a large telescoping pole. One scrubs, the other squeegee's? It'll dry fast up there that's for sure. I hate those jobs. You might also be able to rent a big freakin A-frame ladder and use a regular sized pole from it. Some a frames have a middle section that extends...

    Mixing Sodium Percarbonate

I could use some help with mixing/applying/cleaning with Sodium Percarbonate. I've been using Sodium Hydroxide on my decks but would like something a little bit safer for the decks that don't need stripping. My understanding is that it requires slightly higher pressure to use than hydroxide...
