Chuck The Wolman a&l came in a metal can and I applied it with a brush. Maybe that was the problem. As I said I only needed to do a few boards and now that I think back it was tropitech that I was trying to strip. The Wolmans should of worked on that as I think it is all about the same.

    Hd-80

I had to buy a can of Wolman A&L awhile back. It think I had to pay 45 bucks for it which I thought was too much as it really didn't do that good a job. Luckly I didn't have to do more that a few boards. I have been seaching for something that works. I think regular paint n varnish...

    Stripping Sikkens SRD

I just came back from doing a test strip on the SRD sealer. It will come off with sodium hyrox. stripper. Used both new again and stripx L both which are the same except the stripx gels up.

    Stripping Sikkens SRD

I'm in Tampa fla and have been around for awhile. I don't use Sikkens or does anyone else that I know of but, someone did on this deck. The owner has the can so I know what it was. I have heard of HD 80 but don't know who sells it locally. Who is the manufacturer of it. ?

    Stripping Sikkens SRD

I have a job where a 1 year old Sikkens srd finish has turned black and needs to be removed. I don't know what was the cause to it failing but I didn't apply it so who knows. I heard somewhere that Sodium Hydroxcide strippers will remove it but I have no experience with Sikkens. This is the...

    concrete sealer

Does anyone know what a good sealer would be to seal up a fresh concrete slab. This is a outside slab for a motorhome to sit on, so theres the possibility for fluids to drip on it etc. Thanks Roy Moren Decks ans Docks Odessa, Fl ------------------

    Sealers and wood

Scott, You really can't go wrong with pressure treated pine. Its probably the best choice for a swing set. The Wolman Extreme would be good, but more work than using something like Wolman F&P. You should put on two coats of extreme, where one good wet coat of F&P would be needed. The extreme...

    Steakhouse deck

I gave a price of 3500.00 for a large easy to do deck at a local steakhouse. It is 5046 sq ft without any railings and is ground level. It's a older deck that had been sealed years ago and probably doesnt really need more than a good cleaning, and resealing. The sealer is only in the corners...

    Deck Sealer/Hurricane test

My sealer test boards are presently undergoing the Hurricane Gordon test. I hope they don't blow off my boathouse test site. For that matter I hope my test site doesn't blow away. Seems like mostly rain and not too much wind. Should be a good test of their endurance. ------------------

    Deck Sealer Test

JR, I will try to get some maximum and put it up with a new batch of boards that I put up this week. I never tried maximum but will consider trying it also. The natural look protector plus works well and I have used it quite a bit. I did have one job go bad with it for unknown reasons and...
