    Haz Mat Handling

i agree with the both of you on your points. the 1000lbs needed before a placard is required is right. but i don't remember if that is in power form or liquid form and not even sure if that matters. MSDS sheets are a must. BUT, do you transport them in metal containers - list...

    Garage Heaters

a test was done in alaska about 30 years ago. a 10x10x8 foot normally insulated box was constructed and one 100 watt bulb was used for light and heat. a person lived in this box for one week and wore a shirt and pair of pants for clothes. he must be one tuff dude.

    Garage Heaters

well, i guess if both bulbs blew, and were out that long, you'd be s-o-l. ok, if the electric goes out and it stays out that long on a regular basis, yes i would invest in a unit like yours. thanks for your view and advice. roy

    Garage Heaters

tom, if the garage is well built, has electricity, and especially insulated, a couple of 100 watt light bulbs well placed should keep the immediate area warm enough to keep from freezing. put 2-3 inches of water in a bucket for proof. i even throw a blanket over the machine, not to heat the...
