a guy in my area is selling a brand new 3000 psi hot water unit at 4.0 gpm for 1000 dollars the only problem is its electric start and runs off electricity , with me being new to the business should i purchase it or get a 3500 5.0 gpm unit for 1200 , since im new. Also if i bought the hot unit i planned on buying a van and mounting everything in it , is this a good moveor should i go with a trailer ( enclosed or open ? ) please let me know its only for sale for about a week then hes gonna give it to his grandson.

THE 3,500PSI AT 5GPM FOR $1,200 BUT THAT IS COLD WATER ISNT
FORD MAKES A GOOD VAN OR DODGE OR CHEVY.

THE HOT WATER UINT WOULD BE GOOD IF IT WAS A GAS MOTOR BUT YOU WOULD NEED A GENERATOR FOR A POWER SUPPLY, YOU WILL NEED 240V.

DO YOU HAVE A TRUCK?

BUY A TRAILER IF YOU HAVE A TRUCK, A 6'X10' WILL WORK WELL FOR STARTERS! I HAVE ONE IN THE BACK YARD I'LL SALE YOU, IF YOU LIVE IN THE D/FW AREA! ALSO HAVE 16' TADEM AXEL

I'm with Mel on this one. Buy it for $1000 and buy a generator. You'll come out way ahead. At that price, I would buy it - even if I didn't need it.

get the hot water unit now. you will just want to get rid of the cold down the road!! try washing your dirty hands in cold water some time. hot water rules, like chuck said. saves you time and money, don't fool around. you should get a 1 ton van too. check the dimensions of the p/w before you buy the truck might not fit in a dodge.i have this set up in a 1 ton chevy, works fine.my next van might be a long wheelbase chevy. suds

What I would like to know is where you can buy a 3500 psi 5 gpm machine for $1200. I am assuming it is a belt drive.

save your money go buy a real machine >>>>>>

elec unit is only good for your garage ............

elec. unit plus gen. means more room

I tell him to let his grandson keep it

where are you going to get the supplies to fix that cheep Northeren washer? send for 'em? how about support ..

If I was you I would buy local untill I learned more about how a p/wer works .........then and only then when I recommend for any-body to buy outa town ..

first thing ya know you will a have job lined up and your cheep elec. breaks and ya gotta call your customer and say I cant work b/c I dont know how to get my pressure back .........

just a thought ......

call Mark @ easy clean

even if you dont buy from him he can give ya all the advise he is one smart cookie .....!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to put in two cents here. I bought a 88 chevy cube van from the Air Force. It has the 6.2 liter d in it. with 21000 miles on it. got it at auction for 4 grand. I have my pw and a 325 gallon tank in it. It works great.

whats your budget? If you can afford it get a good setup right off the bat. If you want a van get a deisel motor like a power stroke or a cummins. Thats alotta cash but they run 3 and 4 times longer than gas motors under heavy loads plus you get better fuel mileage and deisel will come back down eventually if it hasn't already where you live. And if you go with a budget gasser you might face some emisions crap depending on how bad its gotten in your area. Its sweeping the country as we speak. Here in Texas they are allowing residents to apply for Gov. assistance with $$$$ for the repairs they are telling everyone to plan on spending for repairs and upgrades to comply.
Maybe the best thing to do would be to do all of the research online look at some higher quality machines- Alkota, Landa, or Delco's to give you a place to start.
After you think you've found the perfect setup for what you want to do post it on here and let the VETS critique it and maybe go from there. Hope this helps.
I'm not trying to promote any products just trying to give a starting point. And give some unbiased information.
As far as the rest goes, its biased because its my opinion so chew the chicken and spit out the bones.
