If you really want to increase your knowledge of basic, as well as intermediate, and advanced PC skills, I suggest subscribing to a computer mag called Maximum PC. You can go to www.maximumpc.com and subscribe. It is only 1 buck a month. That is right....just 12 clams a year.

Now, I have no connection whatsoever to this mag, but it really is the best all-around general computer mag available today. And I think a lot of folks do want to learn this stuff, but they don't know where to start.

I just realized that at the Maximum PC website, they are advertising the magzaine version that contains the monthly CDROM. Good, useful stuff, albeit more expensive. The buck-a-mag deal is for what they call the USA Solo edition, no CDROM chocked full of goodies included. EIther way, try out the free issue they offer, and you'll probably like it.
