Remember guys they copied me and promoted their bbs with fine ethics. All I did was upgrade to the latest version of the same program we started this crazy bbs world with. (he he)

Don't worry I will get all our features back. It will just take time to code all the hacks as they call them. I won't leave you hanging with the default look or features. Funny thing about the new post feature, that was the first thing I noticed too. I also thought what the F. But I'll find the script and put it in ASAP

This upgrade is more stable and secure. I just didn't feel like upgrading when it first came out. Just past beta; there are to many bugs. This version has been out for a while now and seems pretty bug free. Plus it does have some nice new feature.

Keep me posted on the speed thing. It may have been the server dogging it for a while. The code in this version is a lot cleaner, not the old code wasn't great. So the speed be the same. Progress is good my friend.

I thought I had a pop up blocker but maybe the boys did something to it.

Dan's right it is your system, those programs will kill it for you.

Thanks for the upgrade Dan your now up to step. We would have lost alot of information if you waited too long and found the upgrade would not work with the past one.

How about listing a few of the Mods your thinking of adding? Maybe a poll and we could help weed out the ones we all would like to see... Number one the New Posts since last visit would be priority for old members.

A spell checker would be nice...
For colors you could link a test front page with a few you have in mind.

Anyway Im glad your keeping up with the times. And thanks for the hardwork as a fellow IT I know what your going through.

I think I may have to stop using this computer ........my boys downloads all kinds of stuff from the net, I think thats why I am having problems.


I bought a lap-top from dell about 2 months ago ................ it has the wireless card in it .Talk about SWEET man I can be @ a job in the (city) and log on, right from my truck.

Does anybody know if I can use the wire-less with my dail-up internet @ home. How does that work?

As far as pop ups, I use the google toolbar.........it allows you to have a google search right at the top of your browser at all times, and has a built in pop up blocker that works flawlessly. You can get that for free at www.google.com somewhere.
