Dave,

Yes, and looking forward to it. I just got my plane tickets in the mail last week. Are you planning to bring that monster rig again, or are you going to leave it at home this time?

Hi Mike,

Not planning to bring any equipment! John Allison backed down from a challenge that I gave him!

In fact I'm not certain that I will attend. Kinda concerned about the presentation on Enviromental requirements. This was the primary reason I was going to go to this conference!

Which track do you plan to sit in on? Do you plan to take any test on Sunday?

Any statement that I make about equipment, processes or your hair color is my own personal opinion. I usually base it on personal experience. If you disagree with me you are free to reply on both the BBS and by e-mail. If I am totally off base please explain why on the BBS so that we may all know why;)

Dave,

I plan on sitting in on all of the enviormental tracks. I do not intend on taking the test at this time, because it is my baby boy's first birthday on Sunday, October 1st.......can't miss that!

I am already certified in Deck Maint. and I just don't have any need for Kitchen Hood training, so the choice was a no-brainer for me. What I look forward to most about these events is the chance to talk with other contractors, meeting new friends and seeing some old ones too.

Got other plans for that weekend but the agenda doesn't look real interesting anyway. So I don't think I am missing too much. Maybe see you guys in Orlando next February.

February sounds like a lot of fun. Cleveland doesn’t sound to fun. Nothing against Cleveland, don’t want to offend anyone from Ohio, but if you held a gun to my head and said pick one, it would be Florida.

Being born and raised in Cleveland, I've got to say it's a good place to be from, although, if you haven't been there lately, you need to check it out. They have completely rebuilt the waterfront along the flats and from what I hear from a friend who was just there last week, she is ready to move back!! She said Cleveland has been voted one of the top vacation spots in the country now!! I know, hard to believe, but the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is also something to see and the restaurants are some of the best around.
Wish we could make it. You all have fun!!

Well I gotta tell ya...Cleveland is a NEW town and very worth the visit. I just got back from my 5th or 6th trip to Orlando....Puke....If you are in to the tourist crap and NO culture and anything really intresting to see then go to Orlando...Cleveland has the Rock-n-Roll hall of Fame,Science Center, Water Front party central and a side trip down the road about 40 miles is the Football hall of fame.
