I tried to attach a picture the other day but it says that my maximum size for attachments is 0 bytes, how do I change that?

Bryan,

I am not sure exactly what that message means, however try
posting it again, or maybe try posting a smaller picture.

P.S. Welcome to the Power Wash Network!

Byran,

ZERO bytes sounds like there was nothing to upload, are you sure you had the picture there, most times I get a message saying it is to large.

I did get a message saying it was to large, and i tried everything and kept getting the same message. in the lower left corner of this screen this is what it says.

Attach file:
Maximum size: 0 bytes
Valid file extensions: gif jpg png txt zip bmp jpeg

I read that to mean that I can not attach a file bigger that 0 bytes.

LOL Bryan,

Hey guy your not alone here, I to cannot figure out how to make the file size of a picture the "right" size to post and have given up for now trying.

Someday, you know that day when all else fails I might sit my butt down and see if "I" can figure it out.

Heck guys like Bigboy, Cody, Beth (she is not a guy but we consider her one of us) learn that stuff just by snapping your finger.

If all else fails send the thing to Daddy Flynn by Email attaching the full thing and ask him to size it down and post it for you.

He might have to ask his daughter for permission to do so but she is pretty good about letting him have some free time:)

You need to use photo editing software to reduce the size of the image.

Most computers come with some sort of photo software.

Run that program, bring up the picture, and somewhere under "tools" or 'edit" menu will be a function called "Resize"

You then have to make the picture smaller. If it is currently 640 x 480..........that is too big. Multiply 640 x 480 and you get 307200.........which is way too big of a file for the board........I believe it needs to be under 102000.

So, you could resize the pic to be 360 x 270, which would be 97,200.........small enough to fit on the bulletin board.

Resize the picture and save the changes to a file......then post it.

I don't think I have stated my problem very well, making the picture smaller was my first thought, but it still didn't work, then I noticed that it said the maximum size for attachments was 0 bytes, meaning that a file larger than 0 bytes can not be attached

"Attach file:
Maximum size: 0 bytes
Valid file extensions: gif jpg png txt zip bmp jpeg

above is what it says at the bottom of the page just above the summit reply buttom, look and see what it says on yours, is this something I can change somehow or is it a BB thing.
the picture in question posted on another BB similar to this one with no problem, on the other BB it says max files size is (102400 bytes)

Bryan,
I see what you are talking about. Mine says the same thing and I have no idea why it says that. Maybe Dan will know.
