BUILDING A New Work Truck

This Truck Is An 01 With 22k/miles On It, Powered By A 4cyl Turbo Diesel With A 17' X 8' Aluminum Flat Bed. I Am Abandoning My Aluminum Trailer Project, After Buying One. We Are Going To Mount 2 Washers (8.5/3600 & 4.8/3000) 2 Generators, 2 Softwash Pumps, 2 Surface Cleaners (20" & 36"), 3 Tanks, 4-6 Hose Reels, Ladders, Tools, Cooler Etc... I Will Be Posting Pictures As We Go.

Nice rig Tim! Those NPR trucks are pretty good on mileage and you will find that the commerical clients just love the image.

Keep us posted on the progress.

Keep me posted. I am talking to a guy right now about buying his Hydrotek hot/cold trailer and if that falls apart I will be back in the market for a rig. Always liked the look of your truck.

I Didn't Want To Cut Someones Piece Of Art, But The Dovetail And Ramps Are Of No Use To Me. I Am Going To Build A Diamond Plate Tail Board Like The Trucks I Drive At My "other" Job.

Tim,
I ended up getting the Hydrotek trailer I mentioned so some other lucky soul might have a shot at your Ford truck.

Curious why you would take off both ramps? I would think rolling a surface cleaner up one of them would have been perfect as the big units can get quite heavy.

THAT WAS AN OPTION, BUT THE DOVETAIL MADE THE BED MUCH LONGER THAN I WANTED. WE ARE DESIGNING A RACK TO HANG MY 36" AND OUR COMMONLY USED LADDERS EASILY. WE WILL STORE OUR 28' & 32' (LADDERS) ON TOP. I AM SEARCHING FOR LARGE UNDERBODY BOXES TO MAX DECK ROOM AND MIN CLUTTER.

That makes sense. Those underbody boxes can hold lots of stuff and keep the deck clean lookiing. Without the dovetail you will be able to turn that around much easier too. Well thought out!
