Brick, Concrete, Seal N Lock

I'm very pumped about my conversations with Rich from Sean N Lock! I have lots of old brick buildings in our area and I look forward to cleaning and sealing these beauties this season! Last year, I did lots of sidewalks and flat surface cleanings. I look forward to introducing Sealing Services to the business this year! :)

Has anyone had any experience with Seal N Lock products and /or brick-concrete cleaning and sealing and willing to share?

How did your estimates go today Carlos? Any flat surface work?

Thanks for asking. Working on a pretty big deal with a PM that could open up some doors down in L.A. Right now we are working with them in getting all the graffiti removal jobs for their locations in S.F. We already planted the "seed" for them to entertain the idea of having us do the flatwork either on a monthly or quarterly basis.

Didn't get around to posting up some sealing pics like I thought. Will definitely do that tomorrow as the weather forecast calls for RAIN!!!!

I've also been thinking about offering sealing services but also the learning curve and process seems pretty straight forward but do to All the horror stories about using certain brands of sealers I've also been looking at seal and lock products.

Hi Gogreenwash,

I like the same-day/cleaning and sealing aspects of Seal N Lock. I should have my first sealing job here in a week or two and will let you know. Do you do concrete flat work or brick cleaning already? What your market like?

Ive heard that it's hard to seal clay brick walls because the sealer doesn't have time to absorb. Is there are sealer that works well on vertical brick?
Once I remove the efflorescence I want a good enough seal to prevent the salts from coming out and re-attaching.

Thats a good question.....I don't know. I have sealed vertical surfaces such as flagstone and ornamental bricks!
