Another approach to this for discussion is that dumpster pads are more than likely to have food grease in them vs. your normal car engine oil. A product from EatOils such as Super Floor Degrease (SFD) actually, according to the write up, eats the food grease and helps prevent clogging in these drains. So....I guess the question is whether or not it would be permissible to allow a product such as SFD to go down the drain?

Not only is it permissable, it is encouraged. The restraunts that I sell it to pour there leftover mop solution down the Grease Trap everynight. Doing this has enabled them to cut there Grease Trap maintenance and pump outs by 80%. When you consider the average pump out is 350-400 bucks, that's a huge savings, especially for Mom and Pop restraunts. They will also once a week pour it down other floor drains and keeps them running clear too.

I also have car dealerships and auto mechanic shops that use the BT200 for their parts washers and cleaning their floors. They too pour their left over solutions down the trench drains that go around the shop for keeping there intercepto clean and reducing maintenance costs.

Who distributes the eatoil product? I have used Bio Clean in the past. It is a dry product, mixed about 8 oz to a 3/4 gallon of warm water, and poured on the roof around the exhaust fan. it worked resonable well. One thing I liked about the product is it did not freeze. I see the eatoil, being a liqued, will freeze. What works best for grease on the roof, BT 200 or teh floor cleaner. One thing I do notice is the cost. I paid $125.00 for a five gallon of Bio Clean, the eatsoil is a lot more expensive.

Hey Doug, glad to see you made it in. Mark at Easy Clean is a distributor for the Eat Oils line. As for which product will work best on a roof for grease, that would be the Super Floor Degreaser, but the BT200 will work great too. Either product you can dilute 2-4 oz's per gallon of water. Bio CLean - is that sold as a drain opener????

My original password stopped working, so I got a new password, It worked once. I tried the original password, it seems to be working now.

The Bio Clean is sold to plumbers as a drain cleaner, grease trap cleaner and to clean drain pipes. I will give Mark a call.
