We need more members that use other than POWER WASH TOPICS. Some of them have not been used in a while. Maybe some of the members Know people that are in the other fields of interest, they could pass it on to them via email or word of mouth.

Hey Wiz, Might help if you guys made this board more accesible to the O.E.M.'s of the different products related to the area of the industry. For example, window washers need squigees right? Contact An OEM and have one of there reps join the board and so on. You are in the service end and you know the role your suppliers take on in your biz. Sometimes they have alot of very useful imput. Sometimes not. But 9 out of 10 times I will take there advise because who knows the products better than the OEM. Hopefully no one. Right!!!!!!!!
Most of these guys know the OEM's anyway. I mean who in this industry besides the newbees do not know or know of John Allison from ********** or Doug Latimer from Latimat and so on. These guys are smart men and they do know there biz.

I know I personally have told 20 or 30 people about this board myself. I think it's the best one on the net. I like the format and the people that are posting are not the same people you see on the other boards.

Just my 2 cents. Just think about it.

It's not about advo. It's about helping out the other people in the biz. The majority of my biz comes from word of mouth. I sell product A to someone and they market it for me by using it and telling others about it. BBS are a great way to make contacts with others in the industry but the majority of the guys who are in the biz purchase from web sites with listed prices or from catalogs. Not some one they met on a bbs.

As long as OEM reps follow the rules of the board I don't see any problem with them helping out.

The bbs is a great tool for everyone. I learn from it everyday and hopefully I help someone else every day.
