Burner problem

Looking for suggestions, recently my Hot pressure washer has had a great deal of black smoke after the service station discontinued selling Kerosene forcing to use Diesel.
I tried opening the air band and adjusting the fuel pressure on the Beckett pump but this has had no effect on the exhaust smoke. It is still pretty black, what am I doing wrong?
Could this be just bad diesel?
Anything suggestions greatly appreciated

If its a 12v system it could be the fan motor not having enough rpms for the air ajustment.

It seems like there enough blower from fan but I will check it out, It almost seems like its a freight train stack. I was thinking too much fuel ratio, and the Diesel that was put in seemed a bit yellow.
I was thinking the service station was selling cut diesel with ethanol maybe a bi-corn product.
I will check the fan blower first chance I get.

Or if 12V, it could be a low charge in the battery. Charge the battery, run the PW for a while to see if the smoking stops. If the smoking stops, check the generator and battery

Check the tip where the diesel is injected into the burner. You will have to remove the burner from the casing. This issue is caused from the tip not spaying or asperating the fuel fine enough for a clean burn. Almost like having a dirty fuel injector. You can buy replaement ones look out for a heating and cooling suply shop which deals with stove oil furnaces.

It was a electrical issue, shorting out at burner fuse, it seemed to be melting the 30amp panel fuse over time. I might increase wire guage down the road.

Thanks guys for the input
