Now is the time for the UAmCc to get a California chapter running & LOUD! The PWNC was very successful in our campaign - WE ARE NOT A DISPOSABLE INDUSTRY. Everyone in this industry should already be very aware and conscious of our water usage & disposal. The message has to be clearly voiced - and many voices will make the ONE voice heard.

Contact Carlos today and make sure your future is stable. Get the education and direction you need to keep your business alive. Contact Mark if reclamation & recycling is the answer to your area of work.

This is really a message that needs to carry across the nation industry wide but the work needs to be done where contractors are being affected - the trickle down effect goes both ways!

Hi Mark, I was wondering if this would be good for me to maybe drive down from Reno to attend, I know I'm not in CA but sooner or later we will have the same regs here tooor they will be inforcing them I should say. I have a new Hydrotek system with the capture built onto it, but I have yet to use this part of my system and was wondering if I could learn a few things about running it.
I do mostly store front sidewalks as part of the service I offer with my Sweeping Company and have been washing now for about 8 years, But I have the new system now and would love to learn more about operating it better.

Thanks Terry.......

Terry,

I can't speak for Mark but I would highly encourage you to attend this event. The state of Calif and NV has been unrepresented for years. There are tons of washers in each of these states and hat's off to Mark for spearheading this event. I suspect that west coast washers will become more active and visiable in our industry due to the efforts of what Easy Clean Systems is doing.

Terry,

I will echo what Carlos says - ABSOLUTELY you should attend for several reasons! First, again, as Carlos says - there has to be a voice and some times later is too late - you need to get in front of the problem, not just pop up when it hits. Keep your company up to speed.

Second, anytime you can network with even several contractors that face the same "stuff" everyday, you will learn something. Anyone who thinks that they can't attend any time of networking opportunity and not learn is a closed-minded boob in my opinion. Given that Mark is offering this event freely to contractors ( although I get gas isn't cheap!), it's a wonderful opportunity!! Go Go Go!

Thanks For the replies guys, Gas is not a probelm for me and getting a little more educated is well worth the cost of gas to drive down to Sac from Reno. Like I said I have a new unit and I have never used the recovery part of of and what comes to CA comes to Nev and being up on everything only helps us all out. I will try to set it up my work load so I can attend and this.

Having the info before it becomes a problem is looking forward and not working backwards :)

I will echo what David said.

Mark - OUTSTANDING JOB. A ton of great information that was put out and it was great to meet and talk to contractors from our neck of the woods.

I also would like to express the UAmCc's sincere thanks and gratitude to Mark for giving us some "floor time" to talk to all the contractors that attended about the UAmCc organization.

David from A-1 - great to finally meet you man. Sorry that I got up from our seats to move....I am deaf and could not hear a darn thing from where we were sitting. I enjoyed our conversation. Thank you for your suggestions as it relates to the UAmCc organization and the networking approach you proposed. I spoke to one of the UAmCc's Transition Team members already about what you said and we whole heartedly agree with what you mentioned to me. Thanks again.

Great to meet Mike from Action Cleaning Concepts. I trust that our discussion displayed to you where the UAmCc is heading and thank you for your support. I will certainly call on you for that lunch the next time I am in Sacramento. Congrats on your VERY successful business that you are running. Maybe someday I will get to the level where I am driving around in a 10k galloon water truck to service my washing accounts.

It was great to meet those at JC Pressure Washing. Keep up the good work. Also, the father and son team at Miguels Steam Cleaning. I hope some of the suggestions I gave you helps your bottom line.

Manny who is Marks right hand man - wow...alot of years in the industry. I was honored to speak with you and thank you for the historical discussion of how washing was done in the 70's but more importantly how our industry actually started forming organizations. Your insight will certainly be helpful as the UAmCc continues to make strides in a positive fashion.

Aimee Norman, Senior Environmental Consultant that attended had some very interesting insight as it relates to waste water. A ton of resources for washers in California.

Mark, thanks again for your hard work on this event. Your dedication to this industry certainly shown and was felt I am sure by everyone that was in attendance. Oh, that was some pretty darn good bar-b-que you had for us at lunch.

This Round Table went down .... California Style!! Can't wait until the next one

Dang Terry - you made it back to Reno quick. Usually on Fridays it is a bear to get to Tahoe/Reno from Sac.

Glad you made it!!
