I Have to give a quote for cleaning a drive through coffee/donut shop.they would like to have the area cleaned now and in the fall. When I give this quote should I give a discout? If so any suggestions on what % if this is proper. The area that has to be cleaned is 6 parking spots(just wash it down) a sidewalk approx 30ft long (just washed down)and the driving lane around the building to the drive through window ( this a asphalt just to be washed down)a concrete pad at the drive through window with oil stain and gum.All I have is a wand hot and cold water machine would this do the job since I do not have a surface cleaner.Suggestions would be appriciated.Thank You

Have a good day

By wash down do you mean simply fanning the dirt off? if so a 15° nozzle would work fine.

For the drive though with oil and gum use hot water and your turbo nozzle.

Degreaser would make your work easier and as you know a surface cleaner speeds the work.

No I would not discount this job, I would charge more since you are only going to do it twice a year. The longer between cleaning the more dirt, the more work= more time = more $$$$.

To help you more I would need more information.

Drive throughs are a pain - as we speak my company is cleaning a group of Burger Kings - they wanted a bid for the hoods and outside drive through - dumster - and sidewalks. I told them to find someone else to do the flat work - well they insisted - I told them that I would add 1.5 hr. for suface work. This was not a 5 hr. flat work job and managers tend to forget the bid price and call back of some gum or whatever. This happen just today one of the managers found some gum - I told them 1.5 hr. only don't call me about one gum mark. You just can't win unless youy spend the time and charge the high price. I just want to stay inside and clean hoods.
