can anyboy help me with what is the best way to clean fiberglass boat hulls

You can use something like Simple green but depending on how bad the hull is you really have to take a soft brush and scrub. If it's really bad the local boat store sells a strong cleaner for hulls.

As you I do not want to start a battle on scrubing,some things cann't handle a hard wire brush scrubing,some surfaces call for soft brushing while others call for stiff brushing,either way its still scrubing.

I have worked on boats and jet-skis for years. As I mentioned it depends on how bad the hull is. I clean mine every year and a soft brush works fine. Even when I am in the water my hand can rub of some of the film. Also helps that I keep my boat waxed. Worked at a marina and some boats need a much stronger chemical to clean.

Sometimes it takes acid to clean the hull,it too will have to be stronger to clean.Care should be taken as to not let it drip on concrete,check with your local boat dealer,they will have a acid mix or use H. acid or M.acid.Also tarp the trailer under the boat when useing stronger acids,most boat trailers have a poorer Qkly paint and the acid will fade it a little if not covered.

Nomatter where you wash these boats please do not let your run off spoil my fishing nomatter what kind of chemical you use.
