Commercial Surface Cleaning

Probably not

It all depends on the sealer you're useing. If it's Ready Seal, then no. For most sealers you really wouldn't have to.It "could" interfere with products that are more of a coating. In those cases I would let the britener sit at least 10-15 min.s, then rinse.

Muratic acid - USE CAUTION!!!
Only time I useMuratic acid is when cleaning prior to sealing concrete. FYI - it cleans concrete COMPLETELY! It cleans so well it leaves little pock marks (thus need for sealing/coating).
May not be a good idea since you need to have area controlled of foot traffic for extended time.
Potential health hazards (both to you and patrons):
Do not inhale it (wear respirator when applying).
Do not let it contact skin.
Do not get in eyes.
Do not get on plant life.
Do not let it get on clothes you want to keep.
Adding water = fumes/vapor cloud
Much more...

Would suggest other cleaners unless able to control area.

Good luck.

One other problem I rarely see discussed about Muriatic is that it causes flash corrosion. This means that the vapors themselves can cause corrosion on metal surfaces they contact. This could get expensive if you were working inside a metal building for example.

Parking lot is ashpalt - so sidewalk/patio was covered with black oil residue.

I used hd80 and it worked great. The residue was jumping off the concrete - worked good on gum also. I then sprayed an acid on it and left it - this really whiten up the concrete.

The manager was extremely happy.
