Drought? How are you affected?

Parts of N.Ga are seeing stricter water usage bans enforced by each city above and beyond what the state guidlines are.The current restrictions range from level 2(where I live in southwest Ga) to level 4(N.Ga., Atl and surrounding counties).
Pressure washers although exempted under state guidelines are being told to stop work by several cities in N.Ga.I spoke with a guy from Atl. last week who estimates he has lost $20k in revenue in approx. a months time.
There are also parts of N.C. and Fl. that have water restrictions.

I never thought I'd feel bad about offering and performing my services but this drought in N GA has me feeling just that. Dumping hundreds of gallons of water on a house while there are people not flushing toilets but once a day doesn't seem right somehow and may even generate some bad PR with someone who sees you out working. Kinda makes me want to cover up my signage and turn my shirt inside out. :)

For now it's still legal for licensed pressure washers to work in N GA but I'm almost at the point where I want to mothball my gear because don't want to be seen doing my thing when everyone knows what bad shape the area is in. I'm glad I have another source of income to feed me but I hate it for the guys who don't.
